It spins great for basic string play and is completely responsive to handle all the beginner tricks. Built with the beginner in mind it is easy to control and return to the hand. And it is built from YoYoJam’s new impact resistant "Triton" plastic -- so it can handle the wear and tear a beginner throws at it.
Not limited to just the beginner, the Prelude can be easily upgraded for the intermediate player as well. The Prelude is the first all-plastic yo-yo from YoYoJam to feature their exclusive Solid Spin Axle System. This allows you to upgrade the yo-yo by simply installing a Speed Bearing and Silicone O-Rings (sold separately). The result is an unresponsive, long-spinning yo-yo that will move up the trick ladder with you to a higher skill level.
